  8. I've just uploaded a small INIT to DL2 that (I'm told by Brian McGhie, the
  9. author) completely eliminates the possibility of a system crash corrupting
  10. PRAM. This is what has caused the problems we've been seeing with Mac IIs being
  11. unable to recognize their hard disks after a crash.

  13. Just drag this to your System folder (if you have a Mac II; it's not needed
  14. elsewhere). This fix will be rolled into the next release of the system
  15. software in 1988.

  18. pick up and disseminate this INIT widely.
